Tree removal, done the careful way
Trees add beauty and value to a property, right up until one becomes dead, diseased, storm-damaged, or simply in the way of what you're building next. When that happens, removal done properly is the safest and often the most cost-effective answer.
NJ Roots removes trees for homeowners and businesses across Monmouth and Ocean County. Tight spots are our specialty: when a tree leans over a roof or threads between power lines, we dismantle it in controlled sections and lower every piece, rather than dropping anything.

Worth knowing
Not sure whether the tree actually needs to come down? Neither are most people who call us. That's what the free estimate is for. We'll assess it honestly, and if trimming can save it, we'll say so.
Start with a free estimate“We hired New Jersey Roots tree service to take down a very old tree in our front yard. Their communication with us was very prompt. Their work was very professional and quick. The price was affordable. What more could you ask for from a tree service? I would definitely refer them and hire them again for any future work.”

Questions
Tree Removal, answered
Honest answers to what people ask before booking this service.
How much does tree removal cost?
It depends on the tree's size, condition, and what's around it: a tree in an open yard is a very different job from one leaning over a roofline. Estimates are always free, so you'll have a real number for your tree before deciding anything.
Can you remove trees right next to my house?
Yes, that's the work we're known for. Customers describe it well: we carefully dismantle the canopy first, then bring the trunk down in sections, so nothing ever free-falls near your home.
Do you take the debris with you?
Always. Cleanup and debris removal are included in every removal. When we leave, the yard is clean.
Will you tell me if the tree doesn't need removal?
Yes. If pruning or cabling can keep a healthy tree standing safely, we'd rather tell you that than sell you a removal you don't need.
